The sacrament of First Communion completes Christian initiation.  
This sacrament is the source and highest point of Christian life, for it is in Holy Communion where we recieve Christ that fills us with grace and hope for future glory.  

Our children's religious education program is made for all school-age children, kindergarten and up.
In St. Martin Parish, catechism is taught in three different languages: English, Spanish and Vietnamese.
The First Communion Preparation Program lasts two years and is organized by grade level.
The program requires the participation of parents and children in parish activities, as well as the presence of parents in meetings and special catechetical classes so that as parents we can make our home a place of love. centered on the love of God. Reminding them that catechesis is a team effort, at home they need to have support to be ready to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and First Communion.

Nuestro programa  de educacion religiosa para niños, esta diseñado  para todos aquellos niños en edad escolar, de kinder en adelante.
En La Parroquia de San Martin la catequesis se imparte en tres idiomas diferentes: Ingles, español y vietnamita. 
El programa de preparacion para la primera comunion es de dos años y esta organizado por grados escolares.
El programa requiere de la participacion de los padres y de los niños en las actividades de la parroquia, asi como de la presencia de los padres en las reuniones y clases de catequesis especiales para que como padres de familia hagamos de nuestro hogar un lugar de amor  centrado en el amor de Dios. Recordandoles que la catequesis es un trabajo en equipo, en la casa necesitan tener apoyo para estar listos para recibir el Sacramento de la Reconciliacion y de Primera Comunion.

LAS INSCRIPCIONES PARA EL CICLO ESCOLAR 2023/2024
INICIAN EL 3 DE JULIO DEL 2023.
FECHA LIMITE AGOSTO 21
LAS CLASES COMENZARAN A FINALES DEL MES DE SEPTIEMBRE 2023.

LOS CALENDARIOS Y LOS REGLAMENTOS  SERAN ENTREGADOS EN LA REUNION EL 29 DE AGOSTO A LAS 6:00PM EN LA OFICINA DE LA PARROQUIA

Niños que hablan español como primera lengua, son candidatos a tomar sus clases de catequesis en español.
Las clases son una vez por semana, es obligatorio atender a todas las sesiones. 
Para padres y estudiantes es OBLIGATORIO atender a misa dominical y fiestas de guardar.
Cuando vengan a inscribirse no olvien traer su certificado de nacimiento ORIGINAL .
